Andrew Thomas

Biography

Andrew Thomas trained as a navigator in the RAF and flew a variety of aircraft from two-seat jets to the E-3 AWACS. After a very long service career, including operations over the Balkans, West Africa, Iraq and Afghanistan, he retired to devote more time to his research into RAF history. He has written over a dozen titles on this subject and is a regular author for Wingleader.
